Bees go down 3-1
Bees had the start to the season they were not looking for, going down 3-1 but more importantly, Joe Norris leaving the field before half time with a broken wrist!
Keeper, Janos Zverko (knee injury), also was unable to continue the game.
In truth the Bees could have been 2-0 up early on but never got going in the long grass of Christchurch Meadows.
Bees were 2-0 down before Ellis Walker opened his account for the season (and had another chalked off when advantage could have been played. The Bees did show spirit and kept going to the end, very unlucky to let in a third. Charlie Partlow picking up the Effort Award for his great attitude and effort put in (playing in goal and on pitch).
A mention to Freddie Stewart who also put the gloves on to help out.
